MessageWhile I support 101.7 100%, I must say that this has thrown me off guard considerably. I look forward to listening during my commute - I frequently call in to the Get Up and Go Show, and I listen to Rollin With Dice on my drive home.

I understand this is a temporary thing while you upgrade The Fuse.....and God bless you all and we love you very much. Your true fans will walk with you during this time.

MessageHey everyone,
I think if you haven't already you should read the post by Dice before you write your post. It might help to clear things up.

MessageI want to know why the music changed. I enjoyed the original music that the fuse played, not veggie tales all the time smilie . Please change back.

MessageYou really should have warned your listeners that this was coming. This could have been a chance to really build up the coming changes and get your listeners excited about the idea...but you just left us hanging. Really--how many listeners do you think would take the time to come to the website for answers? It's so much easier to just switch the station. I've prayed for your ministry from the beginning and I'll continue...we know your hearts are in the right place. God bless...

MessageI would like to say how dissapointed I am. Out of all the stations in our area, only five have any sort of positive message. out of those five, I believe only two are local, and the fuse was the only one aimed towards youth and the younger generation. However now no christian station aim towards my age group. Instead all the stations nearly aim to please the older generations, and the very, very young. I'm sorry, but if you haven't realized the group that is most influenced by the radio would be the group you have suddenly abandoned.

I thought that the fuse was special, because it didn't have to make alternative music just hymnals and things I've heard a thousand times before. I guess I was wrong. Whoever made the descision to change disgust me. Nothing good can come from abandoning the group you once influenced so much.

Besides, half the music doesn't even have a positive message. I'm sorry but I don't give a crap about a kid needing first aid in the first grade, that has nothing to do with anything. Only a fraction of the songs even mention god.

I once thought about how I would love to be able to donate to the station when I had a summer job and was able, but all thoughts of that has vanished. In fact I'm for the people getting a refund of their donations since you suddenly have pulled a trick on us all.

I never thought I would ever say this, but I will be forced to remove the Fuse from my list of stations if this continues. You let us all down.

MessageHey gang,

Wanted to jump in quick here and say that if you are on our mailing list you should have just been sent an email about what we have been up to behind the scenes at 101.7 this weekend. If you are not part of that list be sure and email me and I will get you a copy of the email.

We've appreciated all the concern and feedback here today (and on the phones smilie ) and look forward to answering any questions you have.

The email explains things even clearer but to sum it up we have been hard at work getting 101.7 all tuned up and better than ever, but it takes some time "off the air" to tweak the software etc. We figured instead of going "dark" we would throw some "Silly Songs" on the air to give you something to listen to (and to get people talking). We love each of you immensely, and can't wait for you to hear what we've been up to starting Tuesday at 10:17AM. We think you will find the same commitment to bringing amazing music to youth and young families that is also good for you.

Again feel free to post any questions you have here, or email me personally and I will do my best to answer them.

Dice

MessageI agree with everyone else that has posted since Friday. I thought veggie tales was going to be just for Friday since it was the 4th but I guess I was sadly mistaken. I'm glad there are other christian stations in the area to listen to, though they do not play the same style of music that the Fuse did. I don't mind the other stations' music, but I know that teenagers especially are not so much into the music on FLR or Smile FM. Their alternatives are CFX and Z93 which both have horrible music and the announcers are disgusting with the things they talk about. I know because unfortunately these are the stations that I have to listen to at work. I really don't know what you guys were thinking with this move, if it is permanent. What happened to haveing faith that God would take care of you. My husband and I were unable to support you this year and honestly, at least for right now, I glad we haven't been because we would be wasting our money. Everyone would love to have the FUSE go back to the way it was. Especially the teenagers who have no other good alternative to listen to around here.

Messagesmilie smilie What happened? No warning? Hope this is temporary. If it's some way to get people to help with support I think you're making a mistake. You may just make people mad enough that they won't come back. If it's something else you should tell listeners what it is. We have always tried to help and support. This is not what people are giving their money for. Do they get it back? If it's a joke it may be on you. I don't like it and it sounds like a lot of other people don't either. Is this what Jesus would do? How does this bring people to Christ and build God's kingdom? Are you being paid by Big Ideas?
