| Message | i was sad when the fuse went off the air.........now i am glad it's back. I was listening to alot of music i havent heard before. I havent heard anything about Jesus on the website or on the air. You guys didn't go soft on us did you? I hope not. I love the station because it loves Jesus and stands for cool things like that. | Message | Hey, Glad the fuse is back. I deliver pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays and listen to the station the whole time. Yesterday I listened to FLR which was ok, but I like the fuse better. I can difinately tell that you are playing a wider variety of music. I just have one concern. I heard a song today that they play on CFX and it sounds like they are talking about having sex. The lyrics were "if you lay here, if you just lay here, will you lay with me and just forget the words". To me that sounds like they are talking about sex. I know the station is wanting to play the latest music, and I think thats great, but I don't want the station to have to sell out to get more listeners. Luke 9: 25-26 says "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." It just seems like that is kind of what is happening. For an older person, the lyrics are easier to understand. But if a child is listening with their parents and hears those kind of lyrics, how is that different than listening to CFX of Z93? Just wondering. Anyway, I'm glad to have the fuse back to the way it was. |

| Message | I struggled with whether or not to post because that is not usually me. These last few days have been difficult to say the least. Reading the guest book has saddened me. I was not pleased with the change in programing and I still don't understand fully, but them again I don't run a station. However, when I called the FUSE, they did answer my questions and assured me that all would be well at 10:17am Tuesday, and it was. Still, I agree with what Kate posted yesterday in that I would have appreciated a heads up and had the opportunity to be looking forward to great changes and anticipate the new improved station. Today,I have to admit I am feeling a bit apathetic. Yeah, it is good that there is variety other than the vegetable variety, but it feels bittersweet. I do LOVE the FUSE and as with any love it is more important to stick with the decision to love as opposed to how "love makes me feel", I will stay committed to the FUSE and I know one day very soon I will once again feel passionate about it. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and efforts to keep the FUSE so current. There is nothing like this in our area and so much needed! And as far as the choice for the Veggie music - anything repeated over and over would have been annoying but Phil Vischer is a genius. |
