MessageReading your intro page has been very interesting. I am looking forward to reading more of your writings. You have a deep passion for the topic addressed and yet it is in a way twisted because it is not entirely Biblical. Continue searching the scriptures and allow those who are elders around you in the faith give you advice and help guide you along this path of life.
God bless you brother

MessageAll I can say is we have drifted away from the roots of reality, haven't we? I would love to experience and be part of what you describe in your writings.

The traditional church leaves me wanting and too often not knowing what it is that I am missing. Even the better churches with the professional class deciding the direction of the lay class, seems more like a spiritual corporation than the body of Christ--with the multi-million-dollar budgets and fund raising efforts and the mismanaging of scripture to coerse people to give. I pray for direction! Thanks for your writings--Dave

MessageThanks for the diversity of thoughts concerning church and the bible etc this days.It is true that alot of fashion in speaking/preaching has been adopted/mimmicked.Alot of other issues bordering on fitting into the world have come in, as opposed with what Gods word in Romans12:1-- says.It is also true that recardles of all this, each one of us has a personal relationship with God-i am talking about christians. This now brings your tghoughts into focus in that what is important is the heart-relationship with God .The rest will come and go.Remember if we have to be too critical and judgemental,it is likely that we can challenge the bible.During jesus time, environment and circumstances mattered in his teachings.Jesus would tell a story /parable relevant to the people and situations.Imagine jesus being around with us physically in this computer age. What example will he give about say, good sammaritan story or the fig tree?.
Iam a born again christian ,believing and practising sound christian doctrines ,babtism and that Jesus Christ died for my sins.
GOD BLESS YOU.
PAUL.

MessageI really felt the Holy Spirt speak through your message. I am from Ohio. I have been going to a church for years. I see a decrease of the Holy Spirt in this church. I would love to start a home church. I don't see our money doing anything to further the work of christ. It is so nice to hear someone really serves the lord.
In Christ Love

MessageDear Brother,

Please contact me on info regarding simple church fellowship that you may know of in my area. The last few years has been a wilderness experience since being called out from the American churchscape. I praise the Lord for taking me through this season of my life, as it has been definitely a period of growth as a follower of Christ Jesus. Plowing forward with the Truth, dusting my feet off from the traditional ways I've been brought up to embrace.

May God continue to use your site as a revelation of His love to those brothers & sisters who are on the same journey as us all,

Grace and Peace,

Marc

MessageI prayed last night that my children would know Christ again. We attended a Church of Christ and I have been a sinner and the church recongnized that. I was never comfortable at church, well, sometimes I was, but as I prayed last night, I asked God to make sure that I was up early enough this morning to put together a lesson for my family, at least by 8:30 or when my husband got up. My husband wakes up just as I woke up and I asked the time, he said, "it's about 8:30." I thanked God for reminding me of my prayer. Since then I have found a lesson plan and found your website as well. My children are so excited about the idea of having church at home after about 6 months of being out of "the church". Thank you.

MessageI was a Seventh-day Adventist for many years, even embracing the teachings of V. T. Houteff and becoming a Davidian S.D.A. After my husband died, I found my heart searching for a way out of legality. I cannot accept the rapture teaching or tongues and prosperity for the faithful. I'm not currently attending any church. I do study and support The Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette, AR. I would very much appreciate meeting with a group
such as you describe on this web site. I do not have a car. My phone number is 704-969-6260. Thank you and God's richest blessings.
