MessageMy father served on the USS Randolph I believe from 1944-46. His name was Walter Edward Lawler. My sister has a map from him that outlines the ships travels. I would love to find a copy of this map for myself. He passed away in 2003. In the corner of the map it Says, " Air Force, Pacific Fleet Table Chart #1. 1 Jan. 1945. Reproduced by Enginler(?) Map Reproduction Plant USA. CPA".

Please contact me with any information. It would mean so much to me.

Thank you, Lori Cranston

MessageGentlemen: Does any-one have a copy of the 57/58 Med Cruise??
My question. Are there any photos of the FJ that landed on my ship (the FDR) by accident. Our ship photographers didn't include any of this incedent in our Cruise book.
Also do you have a cruise itinerary, Map or Ports of call??
I was a plane captain of an A3D BuNo 135442 on the FDR. I live in Bakersfield, Calif.

MessageMy two uncles served aboard the Randolph during World War II. Solomon McIntosh was an aircraft Mechanic. I did not know my uncle Bill McIntosh's M.O.S. I recently saw a large photo of a fighter lifting off the deck of the Randolph on one of my aircraft calenders last year. I will place that photo and photos of my uncles in the Veterans center of the Muscogee Creek Nation located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They will be placed in the walk of honor along with other service men and women. Thank you for your web site. My uncles have ended their earth walk, but when they told stories of the sea, they had a far away look in their eyes, a look of fond memories. Mado (thank you)
