MessageI am the Australian-based author of a number of books on the history of human space exploration and I am currently engaged in researching and writing a set of six books on the Mercury space flights of the early 1960s. I would like if possible to place in my book some memories of crew members aboard the USS Randolph the day that you welcomed John Glenn on board in February 1962. There must be some great untold stories out there I would love to include in this book.

Should you wish to check my bona fides in this request simply type my name into any search engine and you'll see a display of my published works to date.

Hoping to hear from some of you. Thank you.

Colin Burgess,

Sydney, Australia
