| Message | i think phil's made lemons out of lemonade for the most part.. the afinogenov trade will go down as a monumental deal for his franchise.. such a deal only took place because of his confidence in player valuation and willingness to make a risky move. the safe move was to keep the pick and pin his team's hopes on a flashy russian. this league is gonna get real interesting if teams like the goons decide to pull off earth-shattering deals like this one. in conclusion, all allegations are erroneous on all accounts!! |

| Message | From the Phillies front office: A response to the recent FHL report. I did complain through the expansion process to Dan. Dan was the one that told me that his and Goon's expansion process was much more slack and he showed me the draft lists. I did not complain to the pool because I was prepared to think long term and build through the draft. The reason I started my banter rant was in response to Goon calling me out as a GM set for a long haul in the basement. Goon and I have gone a few rounds, seen each others sides and wished each other luck. I'm fully prepared to bite the bullet and put up with the lopsided expansion process, but if you're gonna take shots at me for being last I'll stand my ground. Plus banter is fun, but let's get a new topic. |
