| Message | EPPSTER'S PLACE ROB BLAKE ON WAIVERS (CP) - Eppster's GM Chris Epp announced today that the team is placing defenseman Rob Blake on waivers. ""Robber" has been a big part of this team since we launched back in 2000," said Epp "He was part of our strategy to build the team around solid defense and he's got an FHL Cup ring on his finger as a result...but we've all got to move on." The Eppster's are asking for a third-round pick in any of the next three FHL draft's as compensation for Blake. "Strictly speaking, I guess he's not really on waivers because we still want something in exchange for him," said Epp "But we're saying anyone who can pony up a third-rounder to us can have him...he's going to get 40 points this year in San Jose and that's not too shabby." If Blake does leave, he will be the latest veteran of the Eppsters to part ways with the team, and one of its last original members. Last season, assistant captain Jaromr Jagr was sent to Dan's Dukes, where he won another FHL championship before leaving the FHL. Meanwhile, assistant captain Niklaus Lidstrom is expected to me moved before the 08/09 FHL season begins as part of the Eppsters youth movement. |

| Message | Cheers. If anyone has anything else to update just email me. Either for your team page, or the main page, or the archives. I'd like to put up season point totals on the archives if anyone has them anywhere. When's the draft? |

| Message | Hey Phil, thanks for updating the website with the 2008/2009 info. On another note, I've already reserved a spot for Radulov in a Siberian gulag for when he returns to Russia next year. |

| Message | Actually the Bruins picked up Cammallari in the midseason draft 2 years ago, so no he wasn't available in the expansion draft. Bertuzzi's a natural RW and may land on the 2nd line behind Iggy if you're not careful... Forsberg is back at Christmas. Is this really the only thing we have to banter about? I thought the horse was dead and beaten at least until Christmas when Foppa the great returns! ![]() |

| Message | Bite - hey Philly, who else is going to be on that line with Iggy and Bert? Hmmm, couldn't be someone you could have taken in the expansion draft now could it? (ps any injury update on the status of peter the great yet?) |

| Message | In all honesty I'd love to see Bertuzzi light it up with Iginla and the flames. Unfortunately I don't think it'll happen but I am hoping. But if he does our trade becomes a win win, the only one who got ripped off here is Goon. ![]() |

| Message | Yup Philly - I won that trade for sure, now that Big Bert is in cow-town. (actually that's the only thing that saved him from being dropped off my squad at this year's re-draft - he's got 'til mid-season to perform or he's gone). Keep watching for that gem of a 3rd rd pick from you to make the trade a landslide for me. (ps Rachuneck's winning the norris this year too). |

| Message | filatov just slid down a couple more knotches for me. all it takes for these guys is an off year when their contract runs out an they'll get some lucrative 'vengeful' offer from a Super League team. the russians must still be steamed about malkin disappearing in the middle of the night.. and mogilny.. and vladimir krutov.. |

| Message | Radulov will stay for one more year, but lots of other guys going, makes keeper leagues very interesting? |
