| Message | The Chowtown Bruins have acquired Patrick Marleau from The C-Doggs. Going the other way is the Bruins 09/10 prospect pick. GM Collin Peters of the C-Dogg's continues on his rampant terror of getting rid of "anything close to 30" and acquiring picks (prospect and regular). That gives the C-Dogg's three prospect picks this year, and three in 09/10. |

| Message | on the D eligibility ruling, i think there should be a midseason checkup, where a player could potentially lose his eligibility on defense. if a player's role changes in the fall, this would prevent an average defenseman scoring at an average forward rate and being worth the same as a lidstrom. i took the liberty of finding out THN's publishing schedule for the rest of 2008: September 16 September 30 October 14 October 21 October 28 November 4 November 18 November 25 December 2 December 16 December 23 Now i don't know what their rosters are like, if they list players at multiple positions or not, but i suggest we use the print version on Sept 30th and Dec 23rd as binding position eligibility for the pool. all in favour, say "go dukes go" |

| Message | Duke is bang on. Blurred vision, hearing loss, neck twitches, and high blood pressure are all some of the symptoms that I have been experiencing over the last few weeks. These have all been good days. I am expecting to sleep less and less, and be unable to rationally speak to others in the coming days as my pool preperation intensifies. Its probably for the best that I will be alone in my home during this redraft. Phil is probably the smartest man in this pool, in that he never shows his face on draft day. |

| Message | in response to stonch's preseason report, i'd like to point out that GOON is the biggest wildcard in the pool.. that man is an animal, we haven't even begun to see what he is capable of.. reckless, bound to snap at any moment.. one can only wonder how he will respond to being deprived of kitchen trade talks during the redraft for the first time.. will he throw his laptop off the balcony when someone takes his touted and carefully groomed selection? an animal! |
