| Message | GM EPP LASHES OUT AT CRITICS (AP) -CALGARY - Eppsters owner/GM Chris Epp lashed out at several other FHL GM's today in a wide-ranging interview with the Associated Free press. Epp began by addressing recent accusations that he is a "homer" that only picks Calgary Flames. "I've never denied that I'm a Flames fan and I won't apologize for that," said Epp "but let's crunch the numbers. I have two Flames. I have more Bruins, more Blackhawsk, the same amount of Avalanche - you get the picture." In fact, entering this season, the Eppsters had not had a Flame on their roster since Kristen Huselius two seasons ago. "Rob (Brown, Blazers GM) has two Flames but I don't hear HIM geting called out for it. Are people scared to touch him just because his other job is a minister?" Epp also jumped on fellow GM's who constantly judge his GM style. "I don't owe an explanation to anyone," he said." | Message | Things are definitely a lot more interesting with this new look in the FHL. A definite shake-up. I, for one, am interested to see how Phil's plan will unfold. I think it has been the experience of most GMs in the league that a good offence is useless without a good defence. | Message | I would recommend that GM Neufeld *not* use a separate email for the FHL. But rather, use his regular home email account. What seems to be happening is that the secondary FHL account is never checked  |

| Message | Ha you have a lot of work to do to catch my record lows... half my team was too young to drive to games... FYI: I'm lookin to make at least one more blockbuster before month end! All new assets are on the block... I am now considering myself a contender as early as next year, Crosby and Ovechkin are completely untouchable. Otherwise I'm looking for anything that improves me for next year...
