| Message | The editors of the Canadian Press would like to apologize for the sloppy layout and frequent typos in the preceding article about the Eppsters. Our lack of professionalism is shameful and we hope the Eppsters, specifically GM Epp, will find it their hearts to forgive our shoddy editing skills. We trust that GM Epp, who many still believe is the greatest GM in FHL history, will overlook our grave erros. CP Editorial Board |

| Message | (Epp continued) GM Epp also reminded FHL GM's of a bet that he won with Blazers GM Rob Brown. "Since Bourque outscored J.P Dumont this season, Brown is obligated to compliment my club every time he posts on this site next year." Brown has yet to confirm if he will abide by the agreement. Finally, Epp also encouraged FHL GM's to consider his earlier proposal having a cash payot to all GM's at the end of the season, based on the final standings. "Not only will this give GM's the incentive needed to fight for every point all year. It will enable the league to rank teams overall strength over a number of seasons and give a fair assessment of a team's depth, even if they don't win a cup." Epp hopes that all GM's will vote in favour of his proposal in the coming months. |

| Message | EPPSTERS MAKE REASSIGN CAPTAINGS, CALL FOR CHANGE IN THE FHL (CP) - Calgary - Eppsters GM and CEO Chris Epp made several announcements today in the wake of his teams FHL Playoff Cup victory. "First of all, I'd like to thank the FHL GM's who congratulated me on my playoff victors," said Epp "Nearly three GM's made positive comments, a rate equivalent to roughly 30 per cent of people involved in the pool. Bravo." Epp also announced a new direction in leadership for his club. "We played most of this season with no captains, since Spezza, Gagne, and Stastny all joined the Dukes. Therfore, we are pleased to announced Norris Trophy finalist and FHL rookie of the year candidate Duncan Keith as the new Eppsters captain." Epp also appointed Joe Thornton and Rene Bourque as alternate captains. |

| Message | And the phillies fall just short of the championship on the last play of the game for the 2nd year in a row, last year it was a 2nd assist on a meaningless 3rd period goal, and this year 2 points from the goalie win that sealed the deal. The Phillies organization is finding it harder than expected to capture their first piece of FHL hardware, but we are more committed than ever to the cause starting in October. Let's have some early summer offers, and get things moving. Congrats to Epp on his playoff championship. |
