MessageI am unavailable for most of that first weekend in October (including the Friday) because I'm involved in a wedding - I could probably do Sunday night (the 3) though my company may still be here.

As for rule changes, I'm happy to increase how much I pay into the pool. I also resubmit my idea to have everyone pay or earn a different amount, dependin on their finishing place in the pool.

I'm happy to leave month-end roster changes alone..I think the Bieksa incident was an anomaly.

Dan, I still owe you a cheque - sorry i haven't sent it yet.

MessageMy suggestion would be Friday, Oct. 7:30 pm at my house. I have a feeling Wiebe will be the hardest to co-ordinate a meeting time with.

Duke can use his money from his prize winnings and fly out for the night.

MessageYeah, we should set a draft date pretty quick here so we can try to work around as many peoples schedules as possible. I'm available any night except Mon and Wed.

MessageI'd be willing to increase entry fee to $30, with prize money going to the top 3 finishers.

I also think the payment situation is the least of our problems. If you don't live in the same town as Rob Brown, write a check, and put it in the mail. If the postage is dated later than say October 1 you loose your first mid season pick.

The monthly roster move debate is a bit more unclear for me. I know from my own perspective I will continue to go out of my way to get my roster in on time, but in circumstances where someone is out of town or out of range to get his roster in, a definite punishment needs to be put in place. It would seem to be fairly easy to police this situation if rosters continue to be posted on the banter board, which states the date of the post. If you post past the first day of the month you should be issued a pre determined penalty. What the appropriate penalty is is the question.

Messagei'm cool with whatever for the money.. i don't think we should increase by more than ten bucks...

paying up front makes too much sense. out of towners just mail rob a cheque and he sends the winner a cheque at the end of the year... email transfers take two seconds and work well too...

i have no interest in voting on roster move disputes.. it got silly last year... we should make up rules we can live with or just say anything goes.. it's way too grey right now..
