| Message | Management held a team breakfast today, on the morning of a key 16 player Thursday night. Since the fan from the Chilliwack Chiefs games couldn't be located to do her "everybody skates, everybody hits!" routine, Darryl Sutter was brought in as a motivational speaker. His words were both moving and poignant. "Guys, our best players have to be our best players. Mumble, mumble..." Heater stirred up the pot when he referred to the team's #2 goalie as "Pecker". T-Kab dropped his plate on the way to the table. Evgeni only ate 75% of what everyone thought he would eat. Ryan stubbed his lower body at the omelette bar. Also there was bacon at the breakfast. |

| Message | my hesitation in going to 9 or 10 teams is the expanding of the middle of the pack.. an extra team that doesn't get prize money and doesnt get high draft picks.. the bigger you get, the more of a challenge it is to keep everyone in interested in keeper leagues.. not too concerned about the thinning of talent, it is all relative, but it does depend on the comfort level of everyone digging into those extra 27 players.. |
