| Message | EPPSTERS PRESS AHEAD UNDER NEW REGIME (CP) (Calgary) - After spending the entire FHL season in last place, the Eppsters have jumped up two spots in the standings in a single week. Many pundits say this success is due to the new GM and CEO of the club, Finn Lee-Epp.
"I vowed that this team would no longer be the laughing-stock of the FHL once I took over," said GM Epp, Jr. "Our recent sucess proves that." GM Epp, Jr. also says he's not done his climb to the middle.
"The Farmhands and C-Doggs were just bumps in the road. Next, I'm taking down the Blazers".
When asked if he would maintain the same close personal and professional ties with the Blazers, his father did, Lee-Epp was clear.
"Not a chance" said the new GM "Look, my old man and Ron Braun..that's his name, right? They go way back...they knew each other long before they found success in the FHL and carried that relationship into the league. Frankly, I think it worked against the Eppsters." said Lee-Epp "I don't really know GM Broon...I've only met him a few times and frankly, I think he's a bit of a tool. I look forward to obliterating the Blazers in my climb to the top...by the way, he's WAY overdue with this required compliments of my club."
As of press time, the Eppsters were five points behind the Blazers. |
