| Message | 1. The new team is not part of the pool yet. Once the new team is part of the current standings, he will be included in the draft order. 2. GM's currently in line for high picks would not be happy. |

| Message | Why would the new GM be picking last in the midseasons? Shouldn't they get the first picks if they're going to be activiated next year? |

| Message | Any expansion proposal is going to have pros and cons attached to it. It is up to the individual GM to weigh them and vote accordingly. The list of available players has been sent out to all GM's. |

| Message | The only problem with the proposal is that it significantly reduces the quality of this mid-season draft, there-by reducing trade value of current mid-season picks. |

| Message | 6 out of the top 30 NHL scorers are on the list as well 2 of the top 8 d and the goalie with the most wins so the list is no joke. |

| Message | ***EXPANSION PROPOSAL*** After looking at a few expansion options and weighing everyone's concerns, here is a very simple proposal for expansion: 1. Award a team this month. 2. Allow the new GM to choose 25 players from a list of the drops done during the last 2 years. This would be done before the Nov. midseason draft. See the Draft History tab to see the names available. 3. Give the new GM the last pick in the 2 midseasons this year. 4. Give the new GM the last pick in every round next year including the Prospect Round. 5. No expansion draft. 6. The new team would be activated immediately for trading purposes. 7. The new team would be activated in the standings starting next year. This includes draft positioning. 8. The new GM will pay an entry fee starting next year. This proposal will need to be voted on soon in order to know who is available for the upcoming midseason. Here's the timeline: 1. Voice concerns or comments during this week. 2. Vote Yes or No to the proposed expansion plan by Friday, Nov 18. 3. If approved, the new GM will have one week (ending Nov 26) to choose his players from the drop list. 4. The redraft will be held on Nov 27-29. The draft order will be according to the standings up to and including Nov 26. |
