| Message | Rob, can you please end all of this expansion talk and make a decision? Call me when you decide to expand, then let me know the rules. |

| Message | Sorry for the delay. What can I say other that 'four week old' My vote is yes. I like the fact that it doesn't hurt our current rosters which was the main complaint on the draft discussion. I don't think the draft value depletion is as big as problem as it is made out to be. |

| Message | Blazer, I think you are confusing what we are doing here. This is an expansion process, not a "let's rip apart the greatest dynasty who has never won a thing" process. I see what you are doing and I don't blame you but how about you just let me enjoy actually being in a meaningful race after 10 of racking my brain to figure out how to win this pool? I didn't realize that my simple action of trying to help this pool would create such issues so I will respectfully withdraw my services for future expansion dealings. Call me when you figure it out and I'll fork over whatever carefully acquired assets you deem fit. Yeah, I know, sniff..sniff... ![]() |

| Message | I'm totally on board with a new GM joining if we're giving a full season to prepare. I know when I came into the league, we knew the expansion setup at the beginning of the season, and I was given midseason picks as well as future picks... I even negotiated 1 or 2 of the players I'd receive from GM"s before christmas... and then I was shopping deals with those players through the second half of the season as futures... just saying this because there's definitely a way to have a new GM actively involved in the pool without having players picked from our teams/draft midseason and without officially having a team/roster until next October. |

| Message | GM Terror, Mr. Peters, I apologize for the perceived shot at your integrity. I do mean what I originally stated in my first rant yesterday. You did have a good idea for the expansion draft. I don't think you did it to purposely hide your assets. But I do think it does hide exposure of your assets none-the-less. Therefore I don't think it would be in the best interest in the league to let the up coming juggernaut off the hook for being impacted by the expansion (don't tell me that you value your draft picks - you've got 1 first rounder and 2 fourths, with very little dead weight on your club). Yes certain teams will be more impacted than others, but to be fair to all GMs we need to give much more notice for each GM to attempt to accommodate their rosters and draft picks to compensate for the expansion. I just think we need a better go at this expansion thing. I think current rosters must be somewhat exposed. |

| Message | Well, you guys don't make it easy. The vote is now 4-3 in favor. I have given Cdogg multiple reminders including last nite and for whatever reason, he is not voting. At this point, I don't know what to do as it's obvious that whatever happens, half the pool will be upset. As a compromise, I propose that we agree to award a franchise to Scott Lindhout, with his entry into the pool coming at a later date. It seems that the people against expansion now are not against it in the future. I look forward to half of you agreeing with this and half of you disagreeing. |

| Message | i'll vote no in support of those against limited notice on value changes. while the value change is minimal, it is still material.. it just doesn't affect me. if everyone was fine with the value changes, then i'd be fine. if value changes affect me and i have time to plan for it, then i'm fine. here's what i'd like to see in expansion: -some intriguing asset(s) going to the expansion franchise (jeff folded his team and we redrafted a more favourable set up, scott shouldn't start with the worst set up in league history).. -1 year notice on major value changes, unless unanimous on shorter term changes ..... in my opinion, cam and i are most effected by an expansion draft scenario. if that's what it takes to level the playing field with lower teams that will pick one spot lower in the future, maybe that's the route we should pursue?? |
