MessageMy thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I am proud to be considered one of Starr's friends. It is a tribute to Chief and Mrs Casey that all their children are a close and very caring family.

MessageI worked with Lynn for 13 years. You never knew what to expect in roll call but you did always know you were going to leave with a smile and a story about something that had happened during Lynn's crazy day. You also never knew when some type of "stress relief" was going to come flying out of the supervisor's office. She may have been a little chaotic at times but she knew her job and always gave 150%. Lynn always did what she could to let you know how valuable you were and make the work situation better. I'm sorry she left us before seeing that happen.

I know she's working in a comm center in heaven while all the cats are gathering around her. Metro has lost a very valuable employee and a wonderful friend who's passion for the job and, most importantly, the people can never be replaced. I hope she was watching her beautiful farewell yesterday. She would have been humbled, honored, and laughing herself silly with delight. The tears shed were for our loss, not because Lynn isn't spreading her laughter and smile in a better place.

Thank you LMC for all you have given this profession. It was an honor to work with you and to share you with so many others. Thank you to your family for sharing you with us.

Peace be with you.

MessageThere are folks all across this state, and the country, who were fortunate to be able to call Lynn "friend," who knew and shared her professionalism, enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for the things she cared so much about. I count myself among those who will miss Lynn. My thoughts and prayers go to Lynn's family and friends.

MessageFor over 22 years, I had the opportunity to work with Lynn in many capacities. Over that time we talked about many aspects of her personal and professional life and she confined in me how important her family, her cats, her friends at work, and her profession was. She always strived to make something out of a negative situation and showed the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. I know she's in a better place now and if there's a 9-1-1 in heaven, they will find a job for Lynn to do and she will give it her very best efforts. Rest in peace Lynn!

MessageI knew Lynn through school, but it was after we graduated Stratford that we became closer friends. She was always thinking of others first. She was on my side whether I was right or wrong. We shared so many laughs, and I will miss her. I'm missing her now.

MessageLynn Casey was not a spectator; she was a player, a person who made things happen. And, she participated with such vast enthusiasm and devotion that it was easy to be swept along in her wake. It is a special privilege to have known Lynn these last 35 years and to have been touched by her life. The thought of her laughter still brings a smile to my face. For the SHS Class of 1972, she was the glue that held us together and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Casey family at this time of extraordinary loss.

MessageI have known Lynn since 1968 and will truly miss her. We have been friends through high school, college and after. She played a big part in my life through college and in the courtship of my marriage to Barry Payne. She has never stopped being a friend and has there through the toughest times in my life. She is been the back bone of the SHS Class of 72 Reunion Committee and I don't know what we will do without her. I know she is in a much better place and smiling at us, because she got there first. My love and prayers go out to her wonderful family who Lynn dearly loved and cherished.
In His Hands,
Mary Jane

MessageI had the pleasure and honor to work with Lynn for four years when I was Executive Director of the TN 911 Board, and Lynn was on the TENA Board. I admired her support, passion, and commitment to 9-1-1 and to always do what is right.
My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn's family.
Sincerely,

MessageI would first like to say that I have known Lynn for over 23 years. She was a great person and a caring person. She would be there for you when you needed her in anyway she could. I will miss her and the talks that we would have. She was there when I needed someone to understand what I was going thru over the years. She was there the day that I loss an officer on the radio, she was with me all morning long as I went down to the CJC. She gave me the stringth that day that I needed. And when I came back in that night to work, she pulled me to the side and told me that she was gong to put me back on the same radio. She let me know that is was OK and all would be aright. Lynn was a great person and everyone that truly knew her knows that about her. Lynn I know in my heart is in heaven and will always be in my heart. Love to the family and true friends of Lynn Casey. God be with us and watch over all of us as he has one of our own in his house.
Love,
Sue
