MessageI am so very sorry for your loss. It takes a very special person to be a Dispatcher. They are hard to find and especially hard to keep.
To Lynn's family..I will do my best at my job in Lynn's memory.

MessageI had the pleasure of meeting Lynn when we were both NENA Chapter Presidents. If it hadn't been for her help I would have been lost. She guided me and encouraged me. She continued her help with the ENP program.

Her love for NENA and Public Safety will be greatly missed.

For those of us who knew her and loved her, she will always be in our hearts.

The Lord has taken Lynn to a better place. She will always be watching over us.

My thoughts and prayers are with you her family and co-workers.

May the Lord provide you comfort in your time of loss.

Linda Draughn-Woloski, ENP

MessageI went to college with Starr and met Lynn before she went to work with Metro Police. I retired this year from MNPD. I worked with Lynn in Communications in 1982 and again when I served as the ECC Commander in 1998-1999. As I told Chief Casey at the hospital moments before Lynn passed away, it was an honor and a privilege to serve with her and with him for many years. I still remember seeing her when she was dispatching and an officer was shot, she kicked her chair back and stood up with her headset and calmly took charge of communicating in the midst of the chaos. Lynn was not only a dedicated hard worker in a difficult and stressful profession but was always willing to share her knowledge and develop new employees. She loved her family and co-workers and will be greatly missed by her community as well. It has been said by someone that “In the end, the true measure of a person is not the wealth one leaves behind, but the richness of the memories one gave to others”.
There is no doubt Lynn you left this place a bit better than you found it. You made a difference each day. Rest well, you have been a good and faithful servant, your work here is done. May your family find peace and comfort knowing others care.

MessageI didn't know Lynn but I have had the honor of working with Starr for many years. After reading the entries in this guestbook, I have a much broader view of the Casey family. What a tribute to making the lives of this community safer! I just regret not getting to know Lynn through the years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the Casey family.
