MessageFar away fan you must be as you are not in charge of the facts. Firstly the managers that have left have all done so of their own volition. When Taff left we said we would advertise for a new manager, Antony and Rob offered to caretake the role until a decision was reached, the Board accepted their offer. This process has been longer than expected because of the number of applicants (24) and the Christmas Holiday.

We are now in the middle of the interview process, the Board are seeking the best person for the job and it is not an embarassment, it is the right thing to do. Antony and Rob have applied and will be interviewed this week, they do not have a problem with this so why should anyone else?

MessageI believe that this week interviews will take place for the managers position??? To say that the club are embarrasing themselves is a huge understatement as do we not have 2caretaker managers in charge who are doing a good job? The board are acting in a totally disrespectful manner to these 2 young lads who took up the job and saved the club from being in dire straights when the last manager walked out.
Lets look at this logically and see what the answer responses is from the real fans.
Anthony and Rob have done well, lost 1 out of last 6 games who was last manager to do that??
They have kept team together after Martin left and we all know that the likes of Harry, the 2 Adam's, Wilko etc could have moved on but the lads must have convinced them to stay and maintain team spirit.
They have added good players to the squad and bought back a fans fav in Sammy Tucknott.
They took the job with no notice or pre warning and rather than sink have swam very well.
Will the new manager be any better?? App a list of ex pro's, look where Martin got us and non league managers who are ex's as been sacked or told to take their money and go else where as they not good enough!!
Will the boys be happy with a new manager, his method's, ideas and training or will we lose our best players.
If you ask yourself all the above then Anthony and Rob are the correct choice as they have done a live interview over the last few months and proved they can do this. Board take note and save yourself and the club further embarresment. Last 3 years Sullivan, Banyard, Martin, Williams, Smith when will it stop. Your thoughts fellow fans.xxxx

MessageOn his debut Colin Hartburn suffered a fractured cheekbone as result of an elbow in the face.

This has marred what looked like a promising start for him at Moatside, we all wish him a speedy recovery, but he will be out for at least 3 weeks.
