MessageHi Dr. Collins,

I looked through your site, and it's the only place I think I'll be able to find music for my 6th graders this year unless I arrange it. I teach a REQUIRED 6th grade chorus where all 6th graders are required to be in choir that are not in band. Students enrolled in band have the option to be in choir. This year I have 30 boys and 20 girls!!!

I was wondering if you could let me know of any Cambiata concept workshops. My wife and I would be interested in attending them. Are there any in Arkansas during the summer? I don't know if this is a possibility, but I wish that the WMEA (Wisconsin Music Educators Association) could have you come to Wisconsin and do a workshop on the Cambiata concept and its tenents. Otherwise, we have a WCDA (ACDA) conference in January in Eau Claire, WI on the west side of the state. That is close enough that I might be able to get my kids there as a demonstration choir if you would like to work with them there. I don't know if I'm crazy in suggesting this, but there is no resources on this stuff except the materials on your website. I think choral publishers other than cambiata press think that choirs ever can have more boys than girls, but that is the problem I'm having right now.

Please let me know what you think about my idea of doing a workshop in Wisconsin and any possible workshops Beth and I could attend.
