MessageI have a Jr. Choir of about 45 voices, 5th - 8th grade. I personally would divide these age groups differently but that is what I have to go with for now. Choir is a requirement, not an elective. I want to refine our skills singing in parts. A piece we are working on right now is "Alleluia Canon" by Mozart. The basses in the choir do not sing out, although many of them have nice voices and can sing on pitch. It seems as soon as parts are introduced, it is hard for each part to hold their own. I am trying to develop some leaders for each part, but so many are afraid to sing out, even if they are a leader.

MessageI teach 7-12 choral music. Currently I have two midddle school choirs (a 7th grade choir and an 8th grade choir). Right now both choirs sing two part music. SB or SC music I have tried spliting the girls but have had very little success. I stumbled upon your music becuase there is so little music written for two part choir (boys and girls) Next year I would like to have a 7/8 grade girls choir and a 7/8 grade boys choir if scheduling will allow.

MessageMy student, Ingrid Cheung, just wrote to me to let me know of your response to her inquiry: I teach 28 stdents (plus myself) in a choral literature class (Indiana University, course title: "MUS F413 Choral Literature") and we would LOVE to have packets of music for cambiata voices - would you be willing to send us 29 sets?

Thank you!
