MessageI am so glad to find out that you are still in existence. I hope to find some music that would work for my changing voices in my choir.

MessageI am the Choir Director for a High School Choir Grade 8-12
We have strong Sopranos and Altos, good Basses but very light Tenors. Currently use Altos to support Tenors, but not ideal and sacrifice Alto quality.

MessageI have a Jr. Choir of about 45 voices, 5th - 8th grade. I personally would divide these age groups differently but that is what I have to go with for now. Choir is a requirement, not an elective. I want to refine our skills singing in parts. A piece we are working on right now is "Alleluia Canon" by Mozart. The basses in the choir do not sing out, although many of them have nice voices and can sing on pitch. It seems as soon as parts are introduced, it is hard for each part to hold their own. I am trying to develop some leaders for each part, but so many are afraid to sing out, even if they are a leader.
