| Message | Hello! I have just taken a K-8 Vocal Music position in Pleasant Hope, MO, and have just begun reading the wonderful Cambiata Concept book I just ordered and received. I have one choir, grades 6-8 (unchageable at this point) with 5 boy trebles, four cambiatas (two of whom have extreme challenges matching any pitches at all within their limited range, and 14 girls, most of whom are 11 or 12. This choir is extremely inexperienced, and has had little solid training. They have a hard time matching pitch in unison (although this has been improving slowly but surely) and, of course, a very difficult time singing any sort of harmony. They are to perform two concerts this year, one in December and one in May, with an ungraded festival performance in the spring. I am very interested in previewing works that you have arranged, especially those that are non-sacred in nature. Thank you very much! Sincerely, Danielle Koch |
