MessageI have just auditioned my high school students and 5th and 6th graders for choir. I have 18 members made up of 3 boys considered as cambiata, and several boy sopranos. The rest are girls who are are either very comfortable singing soprano parts or alto. I am rewriting some music for them, but would like to see music that was specifically written for school choirs.

MessageI am teaching three all boys choirs this year at my school. one 7th grade group, one 8th grade group and one combined 7/8. I am looking for music for all three groups. My 7th grade group sings three part. I have High trebles, low trebles and baritones. My 8th Group has high Tenors and baritones. My 7/8 group has a little of everything.

Can you send me some music to look at? I am also the Middle School R & S chair for the Central Division of ACDA. And my 7/8 boys have been selected to sing at Michigan Music Conference this January. I would love to see some music.

thanks

MessageI teach the upper grade choirs at Pilgrim Lutheran School, in Chicago. In my grades 6-8 choir, 5 boys grades 7 and 8 have signed up for this year, with possibly one other joining (we also have 9 girls in the group). This is my third year directing this age group, and the first time I've had a good number of boys. I'm interested in help managing their changing vocal abilities.
