MessageMaybe these Tenents should move to CASS CITY, I see there is a lot of apartments there.. Owned by many slumlords! Maybe with Tenents like these, apartments would be upgraded to LIVEABLE!!!

MessageI would like to say i know how you feel. I am presently living in apt near Mayville myself and when i moved in mine it was in bad shape too. My landlord does not speak much english, which makes it hard. When i moved in mine there was Stuff still in refridge, carpet was not cleaned. I have holes in walls, windows leaking air everywhere, cabinet under sick is rotted and smells like mold. Toilet seat was torn up and i had to replace that. Finally got a new vanity as that was rotten in the bottom too. But now the plumming dont match so i have no water for the sink now. I had to run my own phone like under ground outside as he would not pay to have it done properly. A month ago we put plastic on windows, now i have so much condensation thats its running off the ledge and on the floor. And we have three kids under five living with us. I cant bet the amount i pay a month but i think landlords should take care of there propertys or face some charges.

MessageWell.. Update.. mr. Landlord went to court... Courts found the landlord at falt, and ordered him to return the tendents security deposit, and double security deposit fine, on around June, and as of December, landlord still refuses to return his deposit... so we will be seeing him in court once again..........

MessageBefore anyone tries to say that my last comment repeats they should have seen the problems, you're wrong. Sometimes it takes water rotting through to see the problem and it may take quite awhile for it to do this. And for those who think this is about money, if it were about money people would be suing. And as far as I've heard nobody is. And regardless of how much taxes the landlord pays, if he can't afford to keep decent apartments then maybe he should sell to someone who can. These could be really nice if the money was spent on them

MessageNot only have I seen these pics I have been in the apartments themselves. They are not safe and I'm shocked this site wasn't made a long time ago because this isn't just recent deterioration
