| Message | Nowhere on this site does it reveal what town or state this apartment is in, with exception of comments in the guest book. Apparently some education in reading comprehension is in order, because the introduction page states the problems were not apparent when the apartment was first rented. There has been some pretty liberal use of the words “ass”, “moron”, “ignorance”, etc. It’s easy to call people names when you are not facing them. People who use words like that usually have a deep personal understanding of whatever word they use. How can one possibly make such insulting judgments when you aren’t even from this area, but from, oh let’s say, BOTSWANA. It appears this is a stone cold liar, totally without compassion for other human beings. Yeah, “let’s sharpen our education a little”. Shame on all whom so arrogantly, but mistakenly, consider yourselves so superior to unfortunate people who lack monetary means to live in a safe, healthy environment. Not everyone can be a flaming genius like a couple commenters apparently consider himself or herself. It took the person from Belgium, not even an American, to show compassion and state the facts accurately. It’s not a money issue, it’s a health issue. And yes, I can make knowledgeable comments because I live nearby and I know the situation and the family. This is a very poor area, with high unemployment. Again, shame on you and, especially shame on you, landlord. |

ANY MORON WHO CAN'T NOTICE BLACK MARKS AROUND A LIGHT BULB OR NOTICE STAIRS THAT NEED REPAIRS BEFORE THEY AGREE TO RENTING AN APARTMENT NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP. IF YOU LOOK AT AN APARTMENT BEFORE AGREEING TO RENT YOU LOOK AT THESE TYPES OF THINGS. THESE TENANTS MUST REALLY HAVE IT OUT FOR THIS LANDLORD BECAUSE THESE APARTMENTS ARE PROBABLY BEYOND REPAIR WHICH MEANS THESE DUMB TENANTS WILL GET KICKED OUT! SO WHERE WILL THE NEXT PLACE THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT BE? OR PURHAPS DESTROY? HAVE THE TENANTS EVER THOUGHT ABOUT NOT LIVING THERE? PERHAPS THEY SHOULD MOVE TO A DIFFERENT TOWN SO THEY CAN CREATE PROBLEMS THERE! THERE IS ENOUGH TRASH IN THIS WORLD AND BIGGER PROBLEMS THAN SOMEONE SCAMMING FOR AN EXTRAVAGANT APARTMENT FOR PENNIES. |

| Message | I am wondering why you have taken a interest in these apts. The site does not complane about the price. Only the condition its become. Just things needed to be repaired. I dont see anyone "whining" about the cost of these apartments. I just see someone upset about how there apts is being allowed to fall in around them. I am sure they just want some repairs done. I am sure that a tenent would see the condition of a apartment, esp the mold and would not want to live there. Then be complaining and broadcast there problems, if they honesly seen what "conditions" was there. When your looking for a apartment, do you pull down the celing and see whats up there? I am sure the mold has been there, but maybe the tenent looking at the apartment didnt know till it fell down??? as a landlord If i knew my celing was becomming moldly, I would take care of it. If what you say is true the mold has been there for a long time, so has the leak in the roof. I am a landlord and if I seen my roof leaking, I would fix it to save my assets. Everyone here seems to be arguing about things that dont really matter, what the landlord has to pay and what the tenent has to pay. What this site is showing is what is happening to there place, i did read the sites intruduction, did say "When we moved in, these conditions were not shown. As upon living here, these problems were discovered." I'm sure you would have seen the problesm. |

| Message | I did not say these apartments were $600 DUHH, learn to read. I said to live in a apartment that is $600. The average priced aparment is around $600 or more. As Infact your comment about the statement "I hardly see being a landlord as a business that really needs any promotion." from sender "doesn't like critics" you accused him of saying a landlord is not a busness. Infect he did say he was, just one that did not need promotion, DUHH. I do currently "rent" I am paying $375 for a one bed room. I am also currenly going to college full time and work full time. I am sorry if I affend you by not having a "Education". I am paying for my classes myself, I did get approved for a student loan but thats NOT FREE MONEY! I do know of a man who lives in Mayville in a apartment, who is blind who cannot get out and get a job eather. He needs to rely on the "goverment" and "you and I" as a tax payer for his living. The moron who said everyone who cannot afford to take care of them selfs, should be Injected, is on something. I am sorry the landlord has bills, thats why he charges rent. He charges rent, pay the electric to maintain the lights for the building, to cover taxes, travel expenses to and from the apartments and everything else he/she needs.. I know that.... I DID NOT SAY its the falt of the landlord for the economy. YOU CANNOT READ OR EATHER YOU CANNOT COMPREHEND WHAT YOUR READING! |

| Message | I highly doubt that this apartment is $600 in fact...I know it isn't. And if it were you are an even bigger moron that pays that much for this apartment. As for jobs...that is the economy not the landlords fault. The landlord has bills to pay just as much as the tenants. In fact as stated previously the landlord has to pay even higher commercial tax than a property owner. Everyone has bills to pay it is just how hard you are willing to work to pay those bills. Perhaps giving up things that aren't necessity will help them pay their bills on their wages. They can do something about their wages...it is called getting an education!! It works wonders. If you aren't happy about your status in this world then work to change it and get educated! |

| Message | Respond to Oh Okay.. I agree that I would be ashamed to live there also, but if all you can afford is that... Needless to say, the landlord should be more ashamed of what he/she is offering to the community as a place to live. I myself would like to live in a cheap place for pennies, but that will never happen. There are no jobs around that pay even close to what you need to survive. A person would need to be working FULL 40 hours a week at $7.50 per hour. To afford living in $600 priced apartment. There are not too many jobs around this area, even walmarts, the biggest company in the area.. Your lucky to get 30 hours... There are not enough jobs in this area that pay someone what they really need to survive on. No wonder some people live in these dumps.. |
