| Message | Have been very busy with Terry C. working on YKS-7 that was purchased this summer. Have engine removed-will be installing larger one (Jake 275 w/constant speed prop) and removed fabric from all tail surfaces & wings. Making needed repairs on all wings, sanding fusalage to repaint. Making new fairings & replacing most windsheild glass. Have now become a Waco Mechanic!!!! We should have the Airplane in the air before fly-in season next year. Terry has been a great teacher!! Can't wait to arrive @ fly-in's in the Waco. |

| Message | I build and fly Radio Control models of the wonderful WACO's. These are now the only airplanes that I replicate. I will join your organization because I truly love these wonderful old airplanes. I have been building and flying since 1949, and would love to have a full scale WACO. Due to a nagging heart condition, this is not to be, so I soothe my wants with models in the 1/5th scale range up to 1/3rd scale. Let me know if you would be interested in some photo's. I would like to gain permission to do a scale model of someone's YMF. Thanks, Bill |

| Message | I took my 1st ride in a replica WACO over the volcano on the "big island" of Hawaii in 1991 with a buddy of mine. This plane had a widened front cockpit to take two front passengers up at the same time with cloth skull caps & radios so all 3 of us could communicate with one another. It was fabulous as opposed to taking a helicoper ride over the volcano. This replica WACO was made somewhere in Wisconsin. Then I found out that the "Annual National WACO Reunion" was held just south of Mt. Vernon. Since I live in Columbus, Ohio it was just too easy to drive up the road & check it out, thus I fell in love with the WACO as an airplane. |

| Message | We have the best looking biplanes ever made. We need to respect this heritage and maintain their original N-numbers so that the provenance of each airplane is retained in the FAA records. |
