Any Waco photos to share/trade?not yet, maybe later
MessageI've just learned of your site and have recently developed an interest in WACO's largely through acquaintance of Mark Nankivil on the Vintage Av. forum of WIX site. I'm a warbird museum volunteer but have lately developed more of an interest in vintage civil aviation. Gotta admit, WACO's are a handsome as anything else around.
I live in Texas but saw on this site a recomendation of a fly-in at Brodhead, Wis. which is only an hour away from my in-laws. I'd like to attend Creve Coeur someday.

Any Waco photos to share/trade?Replic Taper Wing
MessageI built a Taper Wing Waco from an Ernie Bodie fusalage. It has a Jacobs 300 engine and 2B20-15 Hamilton Standard constant speed prop. There are 13 metal panels on the fusalage from the back of the pilots seat forward. Who said 13 is unlucky! Covered it using the Superflight process and the colors are Insignia Red, Dakota Black with Inca Gold pin strip. Becker radio and transponder with encoder and leather upholstery. We plan on Sun-N-Fun, Bartlesville, Creve Cour, and Mount Vernon.
