| Message | p.s - I absolutely Loved porthcawl whilst growing up. We went every year and I have many many fond memories of my time with my brothers and sisters and mum and dad hilidaying there. We met some amazing and hilarious characters over the years. Please fix this place. Id love to go back at some point but I know I will be disappointed as all the fabric of the town has been ripped out. Many many people love the town but decide to go elsewhere because of the bad upkeep. If you are an owner of a business, How the hell can you allow this to happen?. They are physically stealing trade therefore money from your business. STAND UP TO IT |

| Message | I am from south wales but have been living in London for 13 years. A couple of years ago I lived in Porthcawl for 6 months and worked in the excellent 'salthouse on the square' with Emma and Mal. Its by FAR the best place to eat and drink in the town. There really isnt anywhere else to go for decent quality food and drink in a civilized environment. Stuart in the kitchen is amazing.As for the town, ive visited it all my life but, was a little disappointed as the council dont look after it. it needs a real sprucing up and locals need to start realising that the tourist pound is what makes the town. clean it up PLEASE!!!! Soo sad. It could be like towns in Devon or cornwall but the people and council just dont want to invest in the town. without investment and good people on a think tank board you will never re-capture what you had in the 80's and 90's. Wake up and take notice or you'll be living in a worse shit hole very soon. As for the beaches, there should be Litter police patrolling the beaches in High season that can give on the spot fines for dropping litter, cigarettes etc.. The company that now owns Trcco bay should also be investing in the upkeep and redevelopment of the town as they are raking it in. I know as my family have owned caravans in porthcawl for decades, and tey have told me the extortionate fees they have to pay now. Its disgrace. Stand up to these companies as a group and force a reaction. Nothing will change unless you work together. |

| Message | Wow, what a hole. I went to Porthcawl found the 'pleasure beach' and was shocked. Really! How low can humanity go? It was like stepping back into the fifties and down several steps on the evolutionary ladder. I didn't beleive that suck a place could exist in the west, let alone in Europe or the UK! It was truly an awful sight! I have never wanted to use this word before, but all I could think of was the word scum. Don't got there if you have more than one neuron in your head...its a human tradgedy! |

| Message | I just come back from Porthcawl with my friends, Nikos, Katia, Jimma, Roberto, Jenna and my wife. I love it, we love it, the caravan was wonderful. The rollercoaster I loved a lot also. But I must say some of the other rides make me feel sick. I come back soon to Porthcawl, and next time I bring my speedos. My friends from England they stay, Gawy and Emma, we miss them a lot, my heart it is sad to leave them and Wales. |
