| Message | 10/10/2009 LLangollen travelled to Abergele on Saturday knowing it would be a tough 1st round game in the North Wales Junior Cup, but hoped they could find the form that took them to the semi-final of last season's intermediate cup. With Abergele riding high and un-beaten at the top of division 4 it was going to be a tough afternoon. Abergele's big running forwards were a menace all afternoon and this gave their backs an excellent platform to launch attacks this resulted in Gele running out 49-9 winners, LLan's points coming from the boot of outside half Richard Jasper. Coach Ian Morris said after "we knew it would be tough and it was but I am happy with certain parts of the performance, we have areas to work on but it has shown us what we need to get right for when we play them in the league". |
