| Message | Olympos Mons are split up? I am almost beyond words. Because no-one has ever produced a masterpiece as incredible as 'Medievil'. And now, maybe no-one ever will. The greatest metal album of all time seems destined to remain relatively obscure; a hidden sparkling diamond whose lustre only a minority will experience. But those of us who have will never forget. |

| Message | Yes, I'm certain Excalion are one of those bands that will improve. In England, one problem power metal faces is so much negativity in the music press generally. A band like Excalion, who are very strong in most departments, would probably only get 2/10 in a mag like 'Terrorizer'. They'd not only trash the band for having several tunes that are slightly similar, they'd rubbish it for NOT having a singer who sounds like a tone-deaf Rottweiler drunk on meths [their favourites sound like that!] and not having incredibly boring 'angry,angry,angry' riffs. Whereas a fair reviewer would admit even the similar tracks are quite good songs, and mention the high quality of the singing and playing. Bruce Turnbull at PowerPlay mag would probably give Excalion 7/10 or 8/10, but he's in the minority. Even O.M. 'Medievil' would only get 3/10 at Terrorizer or Metal Hammer, not the 10/10 it deserves! |

| Message | I really like Excalion singer's voice. Only area band could improve really is variety of keys, moods & tempos. But all the nuts & bolts are there; the standard of playing is excellent. Great future awaits them. |
