| Message | I am in full support of raising the minimum wage to $6.15 an hour and I agree 100% with the person who said that we, as Americans, have a moral obligation to pay a higher wage to workers, regardless of the size of the business. Keynesian economics are based on the theory that the redistribution of income is key to the survival of our economy. The gap between the rich and the poor in this country is getting larger every day, which makes the raise on the minimum wage so pivotal to our survival as a society. We live in a country that takes a real pride in its values, and it's time for us to exhibit those American values that we hold so dear. |
