| Message | 1. George Duffus has told me about the 3 Para Memorial Service on 22 November (I was away on holiday!). I have contacted the Adjt who told me that the RSM is handling the event. I will contact him early next week for further details and post them here. I would expect that it will be held in Colchester. 2. Further to my last post re next reunion. I intend to visit Blackpool next week for a recce and to sort out prices etc.There is then a committee meeting in early Nov to comfirm things after which I will post details here and newsletter will follow. ANYTHING you want published to me ASAP. Grateful for any news and/or articles. |

| Message | I served with 216 Parachute Signal Squadron from 1962 until 1967.During my time with the Squadron I served with mot of he Battalions all over the mid east and other places.My most enjoyable time was when I spent two years with the original D (Patrol) Company under the Then Major P Chiswell. With Arthur Watches as the CSM. I have seen George Monroes photographs on the site and I have some more of our time out in Borneo during Confrontation which I could send.216 Para Sigs have our own very active web site and have a reunion every two years. I have noticed the likes of Dennis O'Kane who I think was in B coy at the same time as me - that is if its the same bloke. I have met Tobby Harris since leaving, but lost his address and number.
