| Message | Firstly, some of you will have already heard or read on this website that Johnny Tidewell passed away earlier this month, after a long illness. I am sure many of you remember him from the battalion and Brecon. May he rest in peace. On a lighter note - some of you will have already received a booking proforma for the next reunion to be held in Blackpool over the weekend 28-30 March. Please disregard this one (!) - there is another on the way with revised (and considerably cheaper) prices. I re-negotiated things with the hotel after I was not happy with the original deal! The only problem is that we only have until the end of January to confirm a minimum booking of 120, so please try and support the event so that it can go ahead in true 3 Para fashion! Please spread the word to those who may not always attend or be aware and remember wives and partners are most welcome. Finally, can I wish all members a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year from myself and all the committee - we look forward to seeing you in Blackpool. TC Chairman |
