| Message | Help. Is there anyone out there knows when the Regt started to use ear defenders during weapon training. Following a hearing test today the consultant was sceptical that we used them in the early 70s. I would be grateful for any information.

| Message | Reading back through the guestbook it is amazing to see how many ex 3 Para are just finding the clubs website and subsequently joining the club. I find it hard to believe that thousands have passed through the battalion over the airborne years and yet the clubs membership is around 200. It is up to us all to pass the word around and rekindle the interest. If the names you can remember were members, where are they now? I'm sure that if they were to meet their old friends after twenty,thirty or forty years it would make their day and the club would go from strength to strength. Well done to all the stalwarts. |

I am ex 3 Para serving from 76-79, not as long as some but still a priviledge. Anyway, am filling in the membership form and hope to get to the reunion this year and catch up.
