| Message | The main story in the Telegraph yesterday was that the proposal of the MOD is for 2 Para to lose its Parachuting role.3 Para would only have one company on a rotating basis which is Parachute trained. 1 Para because of its links to SF would retain its full Parachuting role.All supporting arms would lose there Parachute role except for what they called 3 companies of support troops. Doing away with all of the RE. R Sigs. Medic and other para trained units which supports the Btn's. What a load of BLX from a load of desk bound twats who have never got their boots dirty or met an angry man in the dark. I think it might be time for a bit of a fight lads. Chris  |

| Message | What on earth is going on?? heard the news this morning, The bastards are trying to cut the serving guys bloody parachute pay,I Sincerely Hope 3 Paras Ex boss can make a difference using the Media. Let the politicians take a 10% pay cut,Even better let the parties have a go at Milling !! they my actually appreciate then, what it is to bleed for a living. These people do not know the difference between asset and ars.....Whats next!! I wonder ....take away Our Hereford based friends para pay?? |

Paddy(des)Mcarthy ex HQ MT Section later Heavy drop coy passed away in Swindon hospital on 12 may.Paddy suffer a stroke after a problem with a heart defect. our sympathy goes to his wif and children.
