Message Hi,
I have been married for 15yr with 3 kids ages 13, 10 and 5. We live in St Francis with 6 horses, 3 cats, 2 dogs and a goat. I have been working at the U of M for the past 24 years. Who would have guessed that I'd be a farm girl. Not me!

Hope everyone is planning on attending the reunion on August 27th. Can't wait to see everyone as I did not make it to the 20th. If you have already registered for the reunion great, if not get those registrations in. Also remember the DWI limit has changed to .08 so if you are planning on having a few cocktails Drovers in SSP is giving us rooms for $65 a night for Fri and Sat. Be sure to mention Henry Sibley Class of 1980 when you reserve your room. You will need to reserve your rooms by July 30th for this special price.

Colleen
PS Kudos to Jeff for the great website!

Message Thank you, organizers, for planning the reunion. Although I am unable to attend, I was very happy to receive the invitation, and I send greetings to classmates. I live in New Haven, CT, with my wife Miriam and four children, ages 14, 12, 7 and 2. We happen to live around the corner from classmate Lisa Brandes (an assistant dean at Yale) and her family. You can see what I am up to at www.beki.org/tilsen.html, and information on other Tilsens at www.tilsen.org.
Have a great reunion.

Message Kudos to the reunion organizers and to Jeff for the fab web site! Unfortunately I won't be able to join in the fun as it's a bit of a hike from Western Australia

A lot has happened in the last 25 years...
after 20+ years of big cities (NY, Chicago, Hong Kong) and finance, I have traded in my calculator for Blundie boots, a couple thousand Merino sheep, 5,000 acres of crops, a John Deere tractor and New Holland header!!! Oh, and the Aussie farmer and two Kelpie dogs that enticed me away from Hong Kong.

So, for any of you lucky enough to find yourselves Down Under, drop me a line at angieriley@bigpond.com. My husband Andrew and I are always keen to show off the best parts of Western Australia!

Message Hey Angie I am soooo jealous. You are living my husbands fantasy. He'll be glad to know someone is. He met a few Aussie's while managing a horse stable a few years ago and now can't wait to go to Australia. I wouldn't have the guts to make such a more, but sure wouldn't mind visiting.
Wish you could make it to the reunion but totally understand the long commute. Ha Ha

Take Care,
Colleen

Message Hi Colleen!

Great to hear from you (did not connect the Colleen O in the earlier note). You and your husband are always welcome. Have to say that it is a fantastic place to be. While the summers are a bit like Arizona, we rarely get below freezing during the winters! We are just gearing up for shearing which is a major job each year. Enjoy the reunion and keep in touch.

Cheers,
Angie

Message I am so looking forward to our 25th reunion and seeing old friends-- I haven't been home in 5 years and it should be a good time. I'm still living in beautiful Colorado Springs under Pikes Peak, just a few doors down from Focus on the Family where they think SpongeBob Squarepants and one of the Teletubbies is gay, also where religious intolerance & sexual harrassment is common practice at the Air Force Academy--What a town this is!!
Anyway, I'm still married (like forever) and I have three kids: James is 23 and just out of the Air Force (and the war), Doug is 16 (learning to drive, yikes!), and Katie is 13 (going on 17). I currently work at Barnes & Noble as one of the store managers and I love it. Never a dull moment in customer service--a study in human behavior! My husband, Jeff, is currently working for Hewlett Packard, but is soon to be laid off because his job will be outsourced to Costa Rica...it should be an interesting ride.
I look forward to our reunion and having time off and away!! See you soon, MK

Message Thanks to all of the organizers, the website is great. I can't make the reunion, but I'm sure you all will have a great time. To think it's been 25 years! Two of my three kids have already graduated from Sibley, so I kind of feel like I never left. For those of you who haven't been in the old building since you graduated...it still smells the same. Have fun everyone!

Message Does anyone know if the class of '75 is having their 30th this year? I was at the cabin this past weekend with several people from that year and they haven't heard anything about their reunion. Thought someone might have an older sibling who may have received some information. Looking forward to seeing everyone in August.
