| Message | You have been an inspiration to me over the years! Your movies came at a time when I was lost and confused, and needed to find some sort of identity, Then I saw you! As a child and a teen, my life was so dishardened by abuse and even torture at times! I grew up in a residential school for Indians, and that is where all the violence had taken place! My father was trained in both Kenpo and Shotokan Karate'and handed down his knowledge to me as a teen. I never used my knowledge as a vice for violence and revenge, but used it to bring peace and harmony to my life. I have helped others less fortunate that have been plagued by violence that was not there own doing but by other less civilized members of our society. Then there was a craving deep inside of me to know more, but I did not know what it was, but it was the secresy of the ninja that filled the void in my life! I have never had formal training, but have watched many of your movies and role played with them. To me, that has brought satisfaction as being respected as an individual in my community! I have made alot of friends over the years and I contribute that to some understanding and craving to be a real ninja! In my mind you will never be forgotten and I will pass that experience onto my children, about a man i have never met and yet helped to change my life! I thank you most humbly and respectfully, in sharing a great part of your culture and heritage to all that have been lost or in trouble! |
