MessageLOL @ "sole user"... Same here, office and bedroom, I just put 'blinders' on as well throughout the rest of the house... smilie

I'd say my workshop as well, but my kids "discovered" the tools a few years ago, so alas, yeah...

MessageClarification: the areas I am the sole user of *when I have energy* stay clean... right now? Not as much. My closet right now??? Wow!!! Clothes and shoes everywhere. Drives me kind of crazy, but what can ya do? I'm pregnant and can't do the squatting and bending that is required to keep it immaculate. So I just put my clothes in a big pile... and then can't find what I need when I need it. lol smilie (I do get it straight here and there, but it probably won't look good again until baby is here).

MessageJackie - Yeah, my house isn't always clean. But... we do try to keep it somewhat livable. The kids all have chores (we have a system that works pretty well), and Andy helps out a LOT when I'm unable to clean (like now). smilie

The craft area is MINE... so it doesn't get destroyed by the messy people. smilie All areas that I am the sole user stay clean... for the most part. smilie

The shelves and chair are at IKEA. IKEA has tons of awesome chairs - all shapes and sizes - and all reasonably priced! smilie

Oh Gina - lol! I give that speech a LOT - about how if they just cleaned up after themselves, they would actually spend LESS time doing chores! It doesn't seem to sink in. *sigh* smilie

MessageThose pics are great. I don't know why Justice would be mad; he's such a cutie in them.

and yeah...Jacob does look mad, but those snowmen are adorable.

Messagesmilie I too am an organizational freak, BUT I live with four super slobs and one semi slob (Laken). I can never keep anything organized or clean or neat when they are at home. A few years ago, I just got sick of doing all the housework and having everyone come home and trash the house within minutes. So, now I've resigned to the fact that until the kids are moved out or at least there are less people in the house, I'm s-c-r-e-w-e-d and I might as well not stress over people who can't or won't be changed smilie The kids do a lot of housework, and I've tried to explain to them if they'd take the time to put things away right in the first place, they'd do a lot less cleaning.....but it just doesn't sink in to my bunch. smilie smilie smilie

MessagePappy - I figured not everyone would read the details... but figured some people might be interested, especially if they were looking for craft organization ideas. smilie

MessageChristmas time snow - enjoyed the photos and videos. Great fun!

New office table - I did not read all of it. You are way too organized. You are making the rest of us look bad.

MessageI've been cleaning and organizing so it's got less dust and more things put away than normal. smilie

I am an organizational freak though. If I didn't have health issues? There wouldn't be a speck of dust in my house and everything would be perfectly organized. It's an illness. A sick, sick illness. But alas - I have had health issues for years, so my house isn't always immaculate, much to my chagrin. lol. Andy and the kids do a great job of keeping it clean while I'm off my feet due to pregnancy, but before I got pregnant and was feeling so much better and having more energy - the organization bug was hitting and I was going to town. I can't wait to get back to it!!! smilie
