MessageYeah...I really need to update my "look" too! I just learned the basics enough to throw my website up so I need to do a lot of fine tuning. Yours looks great though.

And FYI and I'm sure it's just a ME thing and not a general practice by everyone, but I don't think I've ever looked through people's back archives. If I did, it's something that doesn't happen very often. I think it's neat how you have them all up for anyone who wants to though.

MessageI think that it's sugar in general. What I read and I'm going off of memory and well that right there is dangerous...but anyway it was something along the lines that sugar feeds yeast in the gut lining (can cause women to have frequent infections, but not necessarily) Your gut is a huge part of your immune system and so when you are ingesting sugar the yeast somehow gives off lie seventy some toxic byproducts. Yeast in itself releases chemicals so that the brain tells you eat more sugar (cravings). It does this because it needs an acidic environment to live in. The article was in a magazine "FIRST" January 26th issue on page 34 if you want to get more accurate or better details. AND YEAH...It did mention how horrible high fructose is for a body. I went to my cabinets after reading and noted all the crap that had it in it......a lot more than I thought. smilie

MessageGina - white sugar really bothers me, but organic cane sugar doesn't bother me at all. I think it's the chemicals and bleach used in the processing that is destroying bodies, not the sugar in and of itself. And corn syrup is even worse than white sugar.

I was actually surprised at how long it took us to find a loaf of bread with natural (no 'bleached' flour and no high fructose corn syrup) ingredients - that looked normal... my kids aren't going to eat the nasty bread full of seeds... but we finally found one. They sell organic bread at the commissary but not at Wal-mart or WinCo, where we were shopping.
