| Message | I received the good news about your surgery and immediately got on my knees and gave God the glory. I have been wanting to come see you, but I understand you need the rest. I still recall a vision of you when your Dad had the training center in Greenfield. You lived next door and you came over in a pair of jean shorts and cowboy boots and no shirt in the middle of winter and commenced to tearing the cover off the baseball. Don't worry about your haircut, as I said earlier, you have never been about style, you just created your own unique style and everyone loved you for it. Keep fighting and may God receive the glory for your victories. Love Ya D. |

| Message | I just wanted to take this opportunity to say hey to dan and the family and to let you know that i am thinking of you all. The whole family is special, ive never met any family anything like yours, and thats a good thing. The whole family has left a tremendous impression on me, one that i will never forget. I know dan has received so much support from friends and family and this is not just because of what is happening to him right now, it is because shown everyone a great deal of respect, dignity, and love. Everyone who is supporting dan is doing it because he and the family has touched him in some way, and always in a positive way. The only regret that i have when it comes to daniel is that i only had a chance to play ball with him for one year, even though in that one year he taught me so many things that you take for grantit at the time, but now reflecting on it, he has played a major role on my character along with everyone elses on the team (which as everyone knows who was involved with the bulls, the character of the team is something that should be modeled by all of our generation). I just want to leave Dan with a passage from Psalms Chap. 62 verses 1-2: I wait patiently for God to Save me; I depend on him alone. He alone protects and saves me; He is my defender, And I shall never be defeated. With God's assistance and Daniels strength, I am confident he will never be defeated and he will continue touching everyones life that he comes in contact with |
