| Message | Daniel, Just wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers. You are one of the toughest kids I know. I was proud to know you during summer baseball, and was extremely impressed by your on-field play. ON the other hand, you and your brother's inclination to forget things is something you may want to work on. Anyway, keep the faith. I know that when you work through this, you will become an example for all those children who suffer the unexplainable.I'll also ask Santa to bring you a new John Deere hat. | Message | Dear Mr. Mercer, First of all, I want to say that I have never met you or anyone in your family, but I have been reading the reports that you have written about Daniel on the web site, and I look forward to hearing about Daniels progress. I just wanted you and your family to know that I can't imagine how it feels for you and your family to experience everything you have. I have 3 children all in the Franklin school system, and I thank God every day for each one of them. I hope that if anything ever happens to any of them, that I would have the courage you and your wife seem to have to help us survive and weather the storm. | Message | Daniel, My family and I are thinking of you daily. I know you and your family well enough to realize that you will fight like hell. Get well and get back to school. Apparently Kelsey does not have anyone to talk to in Community Classrooms and you know how she likes to talk!
