| Message | Nice little extract from a Tourist site (w w w.edp24.co.uk/Content/Postcard_From/Gorleston.asp): Where is it?: Gorleston is about four miles south of Yarmouth off the A12 Lowestoft Road (or follow your nose) What’s the population?: Around 23,000, according to Yarmouth Borough Council (YBC also recognise some 22998 are on benefit and the 2 who work process benefit claims) Best-known landmarks: The Pavilion theatre has popular long-running seaside shows. There is also a casino, bingo hall, pitch and putt, golf course, amusement park and some wonderful scenery from the cliff tops. A walk down to the end of Gorleston pier can be a particularly exhilarating experience on a winter’s day, and is a good remedy for a hangover! (why oh why didn't I take the Future to the pier instead of those flats)  |
