| Message | In 1996 I moved to KY for a year on a high school exchange year. I had a couple of classes with Billy. He made my life both hell and heaven. I had so, so many laughs with him and Brian. In class and at lunchbreak. Yet he was also capable of annoying me beyond belief. He introduced the name "tourist" for me. I remember clearly when he stood up in our Global Issues class, pressed his hand to his heart and said, "Harlan country is the best place in the world." I remember laughing at him, reminding him I had come across the ocean, when he was yet to leave his country... so how could he possibly have a valid opinion? The world is a big place. Yet it seems so small when I randomly come across this site. The good memories stand out. He was a clown, a funny person, someone who made others laugh. That is such a gift. My heart dropped when I came across this site. You travelled far Bill, you did so well. Ýou continued to make people smile. I am sure no words can describe how dearly every one at home misses you. Family of Billy: my deepest condolences for your loss. It's not fair. My heart goes out to you. Billy, Rest In Peace, my friend. |
