| Message | I’m in Florida, so I’m pretty far removed from your community, and have never even been to Kentucky. I saw a story on 60 Minutes this evening about Harlan County. Afterwards, I found your counties website online and from there, a link to your son’s memorial. Not knowing your son or your family, just looking at the many pictures moved and compelled me to extend my heartfelt sympathies to you, your family, and your community for the sacrifice that your son and all of you have made. I hope that some day you will find peace and solace in knowing that a nation of caring people are forever in debt, forever grateful, and forever proud for your sons service to us all. I'm sure your son was an honorable man in life, and the spirit of his honor will live forever in the lives of those he touched. |
