MessageHI,

Im sorry to hear abou the passing of your son. I went to Cawood too back in 95' and i cant recall if i seen him there or not. Im sure it was my lost, your son seemed to be the type of person that i truly needed back then. He defended our country proudly and done what he believed in. I live in Rosspoint still, and probably will build a house on or near were my grandparents property is. I dont think your son would have wanted to be back here, he is up in heaven were everyone that believe in jesus will soon be. He just went ahead of all of us to make room for us all. I love the site, i just wish there was more sites like this to commemorate all the falling heroes that goes unnoticed all over the world. I hope you and your family had as good Christmas and possible because your son really did have a great time up in heaven celebrating Jesus's birthday. Ill go ahead and jump off here but best wishes for you and your family.

Sincerely

DJ

MessageThank you, Britt, for this wonderful memorial to my brother. We both know what a terrific friend he was. He loved you and I love you.

I wanted Billy to have such a great life. And, for most of his 25 years, he did. He had a Mother, Sister and a Niece & Nephew who adored him....of course, he knew this, and took great pleasure in it and used it to his advantage. Megan loved her Uncie, and it makes me most sad that she will grow up without him.

Billy was so many things to so many different people. I'd like to say Thank You to everyone who has called or emailed my Mom or me. He will always be remembered. Merry Christmas.

MessageThe night before the accident I was granted the opportunity to speak with Billy for the first time in what seemed to be years. I think his last words to me were something like “I’ll talk to you tomorrow, bro”.

On Monday morning when I was told he had died in a motorcycle accident, I was in such a state of shock and disbelief – I couldn’t believe that my only friend had been taken from me, especially after we had just talked the night before.

God, I should have told him how much his friendship meant to me, and how much I respected and admired the man he had become while serving his country...

Mary, Bill, Rae, Paul – I love you all. You’re like family to me, and Billy was such a wonderful and caring person. I’ll always be grateful for having had his friendship.

-Britt

MessageI am proud to have had such a loving and thoughtful son for 25 years. I miss him daily and most especially this Christmas Day. I can only think that he is now bringing joy and laughter to those that have gone on before him and will be waiting for us when our time is done here. Because of the birth of of our Savior, this has been made possible. Thank you Britt for this wonderful memorial to my son.
