| Message | Will, It has been almost a year since you left us. Many things have changed in my life since then. I never had a chance to say goodbye or tell you how much I valued your friendship and you as a person. My life is better for having known you and the memories of our friendship will live on with me forever. I named my son after you and I will teach him to do and love the things we both held dear to ourselves. He will know why I named him after you, Will, and he will know just how much you meant to me as a friend. Little Will is going to raise hell and enjoy life as you taught me to do. I had some vinyl stickers made for myself and the rest of the guys we used to ride with and they proudly display them on their bikes in honor and in memory of you. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I remember how you used to call me up and expect me to drop whatever it was I was doing at the moment, just to go for a ride and how when I was in Afghanistan last year you would send me pictures of you and Nick out riding the twisties. I miss you with every passing day. You would crack some off-the-wall joke and get me out of a pissed off mood in a matter of minutes. Now I just have those memories and I will never let them fade away. Will, you were and always will be my best friend and I am grateful for having known you and being graced with your friendship. | Message | Sitting in Baghdad, Iraq right now with a tear in my eye, I remember my little sister coming home from Kindergarten with nothing to talk about but Billy Nagel. Billy, you are sorely missed. I only knew you through my sister, and now 20 years later I happen to know many of your flight mates. The loss of any military member is a tragedy, especially one so young that I knew growing up in Harlan, Kentucky. Now you're defending the gates of heaven... Good luck and God bless to all of the soldiers, airmen, marines, and seamen out there keeping peace. |

He was a troop who always moved forward in life and learned from mistakes made and never failed to help a friend at anytime when needed. | Message | i knew good ole billy back in 98 when we all stuck on offutt together. He was one of the guys who you can hang out with on any night and have a good time.
