| Message | Stephan-- I believe we must have met somewhere down the line...perhaps in Las Vegas. I've enjoyed your website, having been alerted to it by fellow Block-Head Larry Meyer. He is correct, I am the ONLY Int'l Convention Trivia Quiz participant to have a perfect score (Valley Forge 1986), a fact that was immortalized in the Emmy Award-winning documentary THE REVENGE OF THE SONS OF THE DESERT, when Dwain Smith announced my win to the oohs and ahhs of the gathered crowd. (There's a L&H-like story behind that sequence in the film...I'll have to elaborate on it in a future correspondence.) By the way, I FAILED MISERABLY in two subsequent convention Trivia Quizes, but have since redeemed my reputation when Brad Farrell (G.S. of A-HAUNTING WE WILL GO), Bill Cassara (G.S. of MIDNIGHT PATROL) and I teamed-up for the Trivia Quiz at Nashville 2002. We won with a PERFECT SCORE! (The conventions have been doing the Trivia Quiz team-style in order to get more people involved!) While some may call me a Laurel and Hardy or old movies expert, the real trick to winning the Trivia Quiz is basically chance and dumb luck!
