| Message | Haveing been a fan of Laurel and Hardy all my life,some friends of mine bought me a DVD box set for Christmas. I sat and watched Flying Deuces with my 5yr old son on Boxing day, and today (30th Dec) after watching it for about the 15th time i can quite honestly say that he is also a firm fan. I filmed him literally crying with laughter and almost wetting himself when Stan and Olly were hiding in a wardrobe and Stan tries to suppress a sneeze. I cant wait to go into town to buy the rest of these great comedy moments especially Way out west which i remember from my childhood with much love. |

I had almost forgotten Stan and Olly here in Japan but my friend buying a pair of wine bottle holders in the shape of The Boys brought them back. She had never heard of them and so I talked about what little I knew and made a few mistakes (mixing them up with Abbott and Costello - shame on me!). | Message | I've loved Laurel and Hardy since first seeing them on television during the 1950s. I think everyone of us can relate to them in some way or another. Think of those many situations that happen and some how we can see ourselves acting as they did. They were simply magical as a team. In closing I would like to repeat what I once read and that is every once in a while I watch one of their films and feel good spending some time with them. |
