| Message | What a fantastic web site. Your horses are BEAUTIFUL. I am A HUGH FAN of Clydesdales, i'm even lucky enough to own my own. His name is Dougal and he came from Scotland. He is only 4 years old and there is nothing we can't do together. We do riding club activities, prelim dressage and hack out to the beach for hours at a time. Ive always had Arabs or Thoroughbreds but ive been permantly converted to the HEAVEY'S! Dougal is a pleasure to own and i would recommend a clydesdale as a TRUE safe allrounder for the whole family. | Message | Hi Wow what a fantastic website. I'm 21 and breed, show, ride and work clydes in NZ, as you could imagion our numbers are low with stallions, without line breeding. Our numbers are increasing with people importing horses, but what would you know about A.I, I cannot find a picture of any clyde stallions on your page. Do you have any? We have just had the Christchurch show and did well, I have 2 mares (one due to foal any day)a 3yr old mare and two yearling fillies. I have been brought up with clydes and love them to bits. Our numbers are slowly increasing and we were lucky enough to have 15 horses in the walking class. It isn't many I know but we are doing our best to increase the numbers with out losing the quality. We have a small club that is about about to hold its 25th annerverisy, I am the Vice president of it, we have close to 80 members. | Message | Great website! It is the best I have seen yet for info on Clydesdales. I bought a Clydesdale 2 years ago and have fallen in love with the breed. I ride her regularly and she loves to jump. I am aiming at taking her into a few ridden classes next year. I went to most of the shows this year that held a ridden class to see what was expected and I thought it was great. Do you have any tips for me as I am unsure how to turn her out for the ridden classes. Thanks |
