MessageYou did a great job of putting together the website. All this was just over a couple creeks from where I grew up. I especially like the 1792 sign. I'm sure Maj. William Beavers would have liked it. Thanks for all the hard work.

MessageJob well done. I've never grown up and am always looking for an excuse to get muddy and have fun and would have been there in a heartbeat if I lived closer. Glad everything worked out well.
The crew at Wye Grist Mill is proud and envious of you.

MessageThis dig was really exciting and it was really hard to be patient while we dug and dug and dug by hand for two days to see if anything was there worth seeing. The mud/clay preserved the artifacts beyond belief, and we paid fot it physically fighting the suction with our legs and slinging the heavy clay/mud strained our backs! We ate good, took pain relievers and slept hard. Man, that was FUN! ha! ha! Thank you for letting me be part of this fantastic discovery! It was worth it and I look forward to future digs. Thanks!
